Eve of Destruction!
It was Boy's night out! Eric, Will, Mike and Collin went to Elko Speedway for the Eve of Destruction! They pretty much race and crash just about anything! School buses, campers, cars, trucks and more! From the sounds of it the little boys loved it and pretty sure the big boys did too! Will was telling me stories all day on Sunday and told me that I need to go next time! I think I just might take him up on that offer!

Fire Station Open House
It was the Annual Open House at the Fire Station. We just happened to be in town visiting Grandpa Dave! So we thought we had better go check it out! It sure was a busy place! Will was able to take a tour of the station and check out all the trucks and equipment! His favorite was the BIG HUGE ladder truck..it was way up in the sky! This year was all about climbing in and out and on all of the trucks! Maybe next year he will sit and watch a demonstration or two!

Surprise!
Happy 40th Wedding Anniversary Grandma Pat and Grandpa Geno! I know we are about a month early, but this past weekend was the only weekend everyone was available. We treated Grandma and Grandpa to a relaxing weekend at the cabin with the entire family! We took turns cooking and cleaning up meals while they enjoyed time playing with the kids! Thanks for everything you do for us! We love you!

BOOYA!
Today was the 70th Annual Hastings Fire Department Booya! I remember going as a kid, we would hang out all afternoon! Everyone would be there, all your friends and cousins! We would run around, buy raffle tickets, win prizes, and eat chips and hot dogs. Our parents on the other hand would eat Booya, drink beer and visit with friends! It had been a while since I have gone and decided it was time to start going again! I waited in line for the take home Booya...one regular and one cajun please! While Eric and Will headed over to the bouncy jump, and grabbed a snack. On our way out we were able to visit the firetrucks and of course Will thought that was the BEST! I think we will be going back every year now! Nice work! It's delicious!

Beans!
We have been waiting and watching and finally the beans are ripe and ready for picking! It's a little bonus you get for living in the country and having a bean field in your own backyard! We all love beans especially the green ones! So I sent Eric and Will each with a bucket to fill. They sure did a good job, I think we will be having beans for a while now!

Labor Day in Pine City!
We couldn't let Grandma and Grandpa Bauer spend Labor Day Weekend alone in Pine City, so we headed up to the cabin for a visit! The weather was not the best for water activities this weekend, but still nice enough to hang outside and enjoy the fresh air! Uncle Luke and Brianne even came up to hang out for the day on Sunday, which was nice since we don't get to see them too often! We had to cut our trip short and head back home on Sunday night to get some things done around the house and the yard!
Morning coffee on the deck!
Yummy...waffles and cream!
Riding bikes with Uncle Luke!
Don't forget my truck!
Playing in the sandbox with Grandma Pat!
Painting a pretty horse!
Thanks for playing with me...I love you!
