Beaching It!

It was Sunny and Hot!  We could not have asked for better Beach weather!  The plans was to go to the Prescott Beach right on Hwy 10...you know the one that is packed all summer long!  However, I remembered someone telling me about a little Beach on Lake Street in Prescott.  Well we found it and it was perfect! Much smaller than the other and was not very busy at all!  It is just outside of the no-wake zone, so you get to see all the boats go cruising past.  Plus you get the waves rolling in too!  Will thought it was great!
Lots of swimming, splashing and playing in the sand!  We then headed over to Muddy Waters to visit Granny Nanny and grab some lunch!  Hopefully the weather stays warm so we can visit the Beach again!

Dakota County Fair!

We had been talking about going to the Fair all week long but with the heat we kept putting it off!  Finally Sunday, the last day of the Fair the weather was perfect!  Will thought it was great!  He rode on the racer cars about five times, the old cars twice and the big rigs once!  Picked a duck from the pond and won a little dolphin, went to visit all the animals and enjoyed a big huge ice cream cone!  Eric and I also tasted a few food items, a pork chop on a stick, a brat, cheese curds, kettle corn and a glass of fresh squeezed lemonade!  Pretty sure Will was sleeping by the time we left the parking lot.  Sure was a fun day at the Fair!
