1 Month Old!

Our little man Max is already one month old today!  Time has been going by so fast!  Max is really a great baby thus far, we are very lucky!  We are looking forward to warmer weather, so we can get outside and go for walks.  Will has been staying home with us on Wednesdays and keeps Max and myself very entertained!



Happy Easter!

It wouldn't be Easter without 3 egg hunts and 5 Easter baskets!  We started Easter a little early with an egg hunt at Granny Nanny's and Grandpa Dave's since they were going to be in St. Cloud on Easter Sunday!  Will found all his eggs and wanted to see what was in the immediately!  On Easter Sunday we started out our morning with frosted egg doughnuts...pretty delicious if you ask me!  Then it was time to head down the road to Grandma and Grandpa Bauer's for lunch, another egg hunt and lots of playing outside in the sun!  Max on the other hand spent his First Easter sleeping the day away like a good little boy!  Thanks everyone for all the great Easter goodies! 

Peter Cottontail!

Grandma Pat and Auntie Annie took the kids to New Trier for the Easter Egg Hunt!  It was a little chilly so all the kids were dressed for a fall day! Will and Mouna even took pictures with the Easter Bunny (who I think looks a little scary)! They had lots of fun finding the Easter Eggs and all the kids won special prizes at the end!  

Eggs!

We started out the Easter weekend by coloring Easter Eggs!  Will thought it was great fun and insisted Max watch him!  I think Will would have colored 5 dozen eggs had I let him!  Once the eggs were dry, I showed Will how we can peel and eat them, which he told me are really yummy!  At bed time he even tried to sneak an egg under his pillow...silly Will!
  

New Friends!

Today my friend Jodi and her twin boys Drew and Cole came to our house to meet Max!  Jodi spent time getting her baby fix, while Will, Drew and Cole played continuously for 2 hours!  They had so much fun and played so nice!  Thanks for coming to visit us and for the big box of diapers for Max!  We must get the boys together more often!



Happy Birthday to Mommy!

It was a great Birthday Day!  Right away this morning Will and Max gave me my presents!  I normally don't read books but lately I am addicted to the Kardishan's and Chelsea Handler!  Thanks boys...I love them!  We then headed to Eden Prairie to have a Birthday lunch with Kristi, Owen and Granny, at Jake's and of course it was Yummy!  Then back to Hastings for dinner with Granny Nanny, Grandpa Dave, Eric, Will and Max at The Busted Nut and of course cupcakes!  Then on Friday night we celebrated again with the Bauer's at McArthur's and of course more cake!          Thanks everyone for all the great B-Day gifts and treats!

2 Weeks Old!

It seems as if Max has been around for much longer than just 2 weeks!  He is doing great!  At night he will sometimes sleep for 5 hours at a time!  At his 2 weeks check up he weighed 8 lbs 5 oz and 20.5 inches long!  Will is doing such a good job being a big brother, he will just stop playing and run into the other room to check on Max!  It's so cute seeing how much he loves his little brother!

Just Hanging Out!

Max and I are really starting to like this maternity leave thing!  We have been taking it pretty easy the last two weeks, just hanging out at home doing a whole lot of nothing at all!  So today we headed into Granny Nanny's house to visit with Granny, Kristi and Owen!  It was great!  Just sitting around visiting and playing!  Thanks Kristi and Owen for coming to Hastings to hang for the day! 

Max Meets The Mulliners!

Uncle Ryan, Auntie Sandi and cousins Danna and Cole came to our house on Saturday to meet Max!  Max was such a good boy while our visitors were here!  Will and the girls had lots of fun playing with all the boy toys!  It was a nice sunny day and they were able to play outside also!  Thanks for visiting us and can't wait till we can all play again!

McQueen and Mater!

As we all know...Will is a HUGE fan of Lightening McQueen!  Granny's friend Kim told us he was going to be at the Mall of America with his best buddy Mater!  I left work early and picked up Will from day-care.  He was so excited when he saw McQueen and Mater, his eyes might have popped out of his head for just a second! They were at the MOA kicking off a 30 city tour to promote the Cars 2 movie that is coming out in June!  Can't wait to take Will to the theater to watch it!  Thanks Kim for info...it was lots of fun!
