A long overdue trip for two! Finally a vacation ...what better place than Vegas Baby! Eric has never been to Vegas so we had lots to do and see in a short amount of time. We did lots of walking up and down the strip and checked out about a dozen of the great hotels and casinos. We stayed at Excalibur, which is located in between the Luxor and New York New York. It had a great pool area, nice rooms, good location and a large food court with a 24 hour McDonald's, which sure does come in handy at 3:00 am! I also found my new favorite sub shop which is located in Planet Hollywood. The Earl of Sandwich, I will have to say it actually might top Pot Belly! I also found my new favorite drink; it's the Red Raspberry Martini from The Cheesecake Factory! I can't wait to go to Edina to have another, so yummy!! We rented a car to check out Lake Mead the Hoover Dam and the new bridge that is being built over it. All very very amazing! We were able to spend an evening with our friends Chad and Becky who were also in Vegas. We knew they were somewhere in Vegas the funny thing is I actually spotted them in a restaurant! Needless to say they were totally shocked to see our faces planted up against the window! We ended up having a great night of cocktails and dancing with them! We also learned how to play roulette which is now our favorite, we didn't win big but had fun trying! The weather was ok...a little chilly one day, and very very windy but for the most part nice. A few hours in the sun each day was just enough for a much needed nap! Out trip for two was great, hopefully we don't let another 3 years go by before taking another!

What's Up?
Not much here! We had a pretty uneventful week and weekend...which we love! We took full advantage of it and spent time just hanging out! The weather has been great and Will can't get enough of the great outdoors! It is going to be a busy summer for Will playing with his buddies Collin and Gabby!

Nice day for a ride!
It was a great weekend to be outside and we took full advantage of it! Will was able to have plenty of practice riding his 4 wheeler. I think he has finally mastered it! He knows when he needs to switch it in reverse to turn around; he now steers away from the parked vehicles, and drives it into the garage to park it! This afternoon he came into the garage asking for a tow-truck. When I asked why? He told me his 4 wheeler was stuck in the rocks! I can only imagine the kind of trouble he is going to get into in the years to come!

Easter with the Bauer's!
It was a fun filled Easter Day at Grandma Pat and Grandpa Geno's house! Great weather, food and family! The kids had a blast looking for the Easter Eggs and Easter Baskets! We spent the day outside, running around, blowing bubbles, riding trucks and 4-wheelers and eating chocolate and candy! Thanks everyone for all of the great Easter gifts, it was so nice to see everyone!
Happy Easter!
Easter morning at our house... Will woke up at 7:05 am, found his Easter basket under his table at 7:10 am, eating a chocolate marshmallow bunny at 7:15 am and watching his new Dora DVD at 7:20 am! Life is good! With time to spare before lunch at Bauer's we decided to color Easter Eggs. It was Will's first time doing so, and took a little convincing! He had no clue what we were talking about but he caught on pretty quick! If it were up to him all of the eggs would have been blue! Thansk Easter Bunny for the yummy treats and fun toys!

Hippity Hoppity...
Easter's on it's way! Saturday night Will and I made Easter Bunny cookies to share with his cousins on Sunday! He thought it was great and so did I...out of the box, onto the pan, in the oven and DONE! No mess! It was perfect for a late night Easter project! Thanks Pillsbury for making it so simple and tasty too!
