Self Feeding!

Max has decided that he is now big enough to hold his own bottle.  This actually works out very well for me as it frees up a few extra minutes in the morning when we are trying to get everyone ready and out the door!

A Baptism for Max!

Today we celebrated Max's Baptism at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.  It was a beautiful warm and sunny fall day, a perfect day for a party!  Uncle Ryan and Auntie Vickie are Max's Godparents.  We are so blessed to have such to have such great family and friends.  Thanks to all for helping us celebrate and for the great gifts!

Bike Marathon

 Will had his first Preschool Bike Marathon Fundraiser.  He had to raise $100 to participate and he did that with no problem thanks to Grandma's, Grandpa's, Aunts and Uncles!  He was so excited to be able to ride his bike with his good buddy Noah!  The little kids bike about a 1/2 mile around Vermillion, while the older kids actually biked a few miles.  All the money raised went to supplies for the school year and the kids had a great time doing it!

Buddy!

This is Buddy the woolly mammoth!  He is Will's classroom pet and all the kids get to take turns bringing Buddy home for a few days to hangout.  Will thought it was really cool especially since he was the very first to bring him home.  

Will introduced Buddy to his Max and took him for a 4 wheeler ride.  Before we bring Buddy back to his classroom we print out pictures and write about our adventures in Buddy's notebook for Will to share with his friends at school!

6 Months Old!

At 6 months old Max weighs 17 lbs and is 2' 2" long.  He is sitting on his own pretty well and still smiles all the time.  He loves watching his big brother run circles around him and Max is always laughing at him.  They both keep me very busy!  Pretty sure I am going to have my hands full with these two!

Teething

Chewing on every possible thing and lots of drooling can only mean one thing...Max is teething!  I noticed a bottom tooth popping up last friday.  So far so good...not to crabby...yet!

First Day of Preschool!

It's a big day for Will...his first day of Preschool!  They grow up way too fast!  He was super excited to be going to school just the big kids!  He was ready from the minute he woke up...ready to put on his new Lightening McQueen backpack!  Will is attending preschool at St. Johns in Vermillion with cousin Collin and his buddy Noah! I was not sure how he was going to handle his fist day, but to my surprise he had no issues!  With in 2 minutes he sat down and started his art project and then moved on to play with toys!  I am so glad he loves it...hopefully it continues that way for many years!

Rice Cereal...YUMMY!

It's time for Mr. Max to start enjoying the good stuff!  Yup, I am talking about rice cereal.  It's definitely no Chipotle or Pot Belly but Max sure thinks it it delicious!  This is when dinner time gets real interesting...trying to cook a meal, feed Max and telling Will to take another bite!  Hopefully Max does not learn his eating habits from his brother Mr. Poky eater Will!

Labor Day at the Cabin!

We spent Labor Day weekend at the cabin in Pine City.  It was a very busy weekend with all cousins in attendance!  Lots of time spent boating, tubing, fishing, sleeping and jumping!  It was a perfect weekend of fun and sun to end our trips to the cabin...can't wait for next year!
